In the summer I tend to wear minimal make up, unless its a special occasion. I always have this irrational fear that my face will just melt off in the average hot day. When I do wear make up, i tend to use more cream based products like cream blushes and highlighters or creamy lipsticks opposed to the drying matte liquid lipsticks that have been in trend the past couple of years.
Upon packing for my trip to Egypt, I still over packed my make up bag- you never know what you are going to need (even that blue eyeliner)
- fun fact #1 – I am a make up artist by trade- that explains my beauty addiction and the need to put a beauty tab on this expat lifestyle blog
But I digress, here is what I took with me,

This make up bag was a gift from my best friend for my 25th birthday.
Self explanatory in regards to what it stores.

I have a warm skin tone and found that these shades of eye shadows complement my complexion.
Most of the eye shadows are from Make up Geek cosmetics – I love their shadows as they are so pigmented and value for money.
